The Open Works Future Fund

Open Works is building a network of makerspaces and we need your help!

Open Works has big plans for 2024 and beyond, including opening a second location, organizing a statewide network of makerspaces, and launching satellite programming with partner organizations. This work will bring tools and technical education within reach of every Marylander, but we cannot do it alone. We need your help to grow!

We've built a new storage shed covered in surplus road signs out by our loading dock.We then used any leftover signs to produce Open Works keychains using our CNC-Router machines!

For $25, you can receive a CNC-Engraved OW keychain or a bag of our 3D-Printed squirrels. For $75, you can sponsor a shingle with your name on it. For $100, you can add a 50-character message! Names and messages are laser-engraved onto acrylic plaques and displayed on the shingles. Each step will get us closer to our goal of $50,000, which will fund additional staff to support our growth.
